Background
COMO is a luxury resorts and hotels group offering distinctive design elements, elegant accommodation and luxurious spa experiences. We were invited to pitch for a revamp of their site, as well as, to raise their digital bar.
Challenge
The players in the luxury hospitality market parade amazing photographs of their properties to appeal to customers. But if everyone does it, no one really stands out.
Approach
Our aim was to go beyond beautiful photos, into greater realism of experience. So we employed meta information ranging from flight details to local activities to augment the properties’ showcase. For more ease-of-use, we proposed a visual planner which intelligently organises the activities on a COMO vacation for their high-end clientele.
Results
Unfortunately, we dropped the pitch for financial reasons, but the concept was ripe for its time, and for its market. We had hope to refine it for another opportunity in the future.
